Protocol details
The combination of Selank, Semax, DSIP, and Oxytocin has not been studied together in published research. Each compound has been investigated separately, but there is no evidence supporting their combined effects on neurocognitive or mood exploration.
Oxytocin has been examined in various contexts. One study found that oromucosal administration of 48 IU of oxytocin significantly increased preferential attention to social stimuli in men compared to a placebo group, suggesting a potential role in social cognition [4]. Another study indicated that intrauterine oxytocin-soaked gauze during cesarean delivery significantly reduced blood loss, supporting maternal stability without added complications [3]. Additionally, oxytocin's association with stress and inflammatory profiles was explored, revealing distinct patterns in young women with high perceived stress [13].
DSIP has been studied in relation to chronic stress and motivation, showing a U-shaped relationship where both low and high stress levels may enhance motivation, while moderate stress may reduce it [7]. However, there are no studies linking DSIP to neurocognitive or mood outcomes directly.
Selank and Semax have been primarily investigated in animal studies, with no direct evidence of their effects on mood or cognition in humans. The available research does not provide insights into their combined effects with the other compounds in this protocol. Therefore, the current literature does not support any conclusions regarding the neurocognitive or mood effects of the combination of Selank, Semax, DSIP, and Oxytocin.
