Peptides DB
Research-centric peptide and protocol reference hub
Not started · no results yet

We want to build a batch testing library.

Independent assays of individual lots — identity, purity, and how much is actually in the vial — published with the certificate attached and the lot number intact, whatever the result says.

To be plain about where this stands: no vial has been bought, no lab has been engaged, and no assay has been run. This page exists so the standard is written down before there is a result to be tempted by.

Be told when it opens

One email when the first results publish. Nothing else.

Step 1 · not started
Choose the labs

Two independent labs, with blind duplicates in every run so the labs get checked as well as the vials.

Step 2 · not started
Buy the lots

Purchased anonymously at retail. Free samples never accepted, because a donated vial is a chosen vial.

Step 3 · not started
Run the first panel

Identity by mass spec, purity by HPLC, and content against the label — the number nobody publishes.

Step 4 · not started
Publish everything

Certificates, lot numbers, chain of custody, and the results we would rather not print.

Two rules, set before any result exists

No source pays for its own result. Vials would be bought at retail, anonymously. Nobody gets a preview, a correction window, or the option to withdraw.

A result covers one vial. A passing lot would never become a recommendation, a rating, or a link to buy. It would mean that vial, on that date.
